Admiralspalast (Main Event)

The Admiralspalast looks back on a more than one hundred years old moving history, coined by many different cultural influences and historical developments.

In 1873, an artesian salt water spring is uncovered by chance in the middle of downtown Berlin during construction work at Friedrichstrasse 101/ 102, the grounds of the former Admiral’s Quarters. With its opening, the Admiralsgartenbad becomes one of Berlin’s first public baths. It is built by the architects Kyllmann and Heyden. 1889/ 1890 The Admiralsgartenbad is expanded into a three-story bath

Nowadays two theaters are located in the Admiralspalast and we are happy to have found a very nice location for beyond tellerrand // BERLIN.

Neue Mälzerei (Workshops)

The Neue Mälzerei is a spot that fits the idea of beyond tellerrand to run our workshops at.

The Neue Mälzerei is a lovely event venue housed in a former brewery. One hundred years ago, the rooms we are using were used to dry the malt for making beer. And now we are hosting our workshops in them. The venue is just a few minutes away from Alexanderplatz. All our rooms (up to four workshops) including catering is located on the 5th floor (elevator available).

Nowadays all of the event space at Neue Mälzerei is supplied with 100% green energy. The rooms are heated with district heating, otherwise known as teleheating or network heating, making use of left-over energy from the wider district.

All Monday workshops are taking place here
