#btconf Düsseldorf, Germany 13 - 15 May 2019

The idea of Side Events was to include local Usergroups and Meetups to join us for the week we run beyond tellerrand in and present their groups to maybe a different kind of audience, than they usually get. A chance for them and us to grow our audience and get the word out. Whether the event is for free or paid, we'd like to get you to also be part of this. Interested? Please, let us know

See what’s already been cooked for you below. Ordered by date of the events taking place.

IndieWebCamp Düsseldorf

IndieWebCamp Düsseldorf

Many examples each year teach us, how important it is to own your data. Yet there is still a lot of work to do to help people to understand what “owning your data” actually means at all and how to get started. Interested? We're meeting for a two-day bar camp like collaboration in Düsseldorf again. Brainstorming, working, teaching, helping and much more. Join in on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th and get your ideas out of your head and your hands dirty.

Tantek Çelik, Joschi Kuphal and I are looking forward to welcome you again. And it is very likely, that Jeremy Keith and Aaroon Parecki are also on board again. But what is planned for the two days?

Day one is giving you an introduction to this topic and is a day with discussions in a bar camp like environment. Bring a topic you'd like to discuss or join on topics as they are added to the board.

Day two is all about implementing what you discussed. Work in groups with others or simply on your own. Demos at the end of the day show what everyone worked on and has achieved.

Both days are free to attend and we currently are looking for sponsors for food and drinks (and other opportunities as well).

Warm-Up at Wacom

Warm-Up at Wacom

As usual we plan to meet everybody at the evening before the event takes off. We want to get to know each other, hang out and chat to get into the right mood for the upcoming days.

I am super happy to let you know, that Wacom is taking care of us. Not long ago, they moved from Krefeld to Düsseldorf into their new office space. This is, where they are going to welcome us and where we get into the right mood for beyond tellerrand 2019 in Düsseldorf!

Huge thanks to Wacom for teaming up and hosting the Düsseldorf Warm-Up 2019.
