Düsseldorf 2025 Photos by Florian Ziegler

When you run an event like beyond tellerrand it is great to have coverage of various formats and styles. One is great to document the event for partners, possible next year attendees or partners and for people who want to see what happened. Florian Ziegler also explains what happened with his photos, just in his very own way. He gets angles and views that sometimes are more like paintings and for me that always is great as it provokes emotions and brings back wonderful memories.

On his blog, Florian describes the process of choosing photos for the final gallery. I this short text, you can already see the intensity of his photos, when he wirtes:

[…]the last 10 photos have to really hurt to delete. Only then do I know that I have found the final selection.

Thanks Florian, for being part of the bt-family and for taking these photos!

Gavin Strange on stage, setting up his gear.
A photo from further back in the room. Chairs full with people. In the distance you can see the stage on which the DJ performs and seems to sing and dance.
Marc standing backstage behind the curtain. You can see parts of the light bulbs that surround the stage.
Two people in this photo. Marc Thiele turning his back to the viewer in the left half of the photo and Brendan Dawes looking at him, using his left hand to grab his headset microphone to see how it sits.
A shot from backstage. Marc possibly sits on the production desk checking things. You can’t see the desk as it is hidden behind a pilar.
A photo of Brendan Dawes during his talk which was taken from the left side of the stage. Brendan has turned his back to the audience as he points to something on the canvas.
Amber Case during her talk. Amber wears a leopard dress and stands in front of the canvas with a slide with the quote “What matters is not technology itself, but its relationship to us.” and below the source “The Coming Age of Calm Technology, Mark Weiser &
John Seely Brown, 1997”.
