Speaker Introduction – Gavin Strange (aka Jamfactory)
During the day Gavin Strange is a director and designer at Aardman in Bristol. During the night he follows his many passions under the alias of @jamfactory (Instagram | Bluesky | Twitch | Mastodon | LinkedIn …) and designs, takes photos, makes films, creates music and gives talks, whenever time and distance to the events allows. He has written a motivating book for Do Books titled “Do Fly”, which deals with the topics of finding your way, making a living and being your best self.
Whenever you get the chance to see Gavin on stage, make sure you fasten your seatbelt. He is a colourful, loud and fast whirlwind by all positive means. He is going to wake you up, to shake you, but his talk will inspire and motivate you. In the photo above by Florian Ziegler you see, that he is literally on fire, when being on stage. And this is what we love and need.
Therefore we are absolutely happy, that Gavin is going to be back in 2025, when we celebrate creativity in Düsseldorf’s edition of #btconf again on May 5 and 6. He not only is coming to speak, but the passion driving his nightshifts is being used to design Düsseldorf’s 2025 assets. We are looking forward to see what this is going to be. Stay tuned. But make sure to secure your ticket as long as they are available.
beyond tellerrand Düsseldorf 2025 is taking place on May 5 and 6 with workshops and Side Events on 4th and 7th.
