Irene Pereyra works at the intersection of design and policy with the Danish think tank 21st Europe, developing speculative design Blueprints that explore how Europe can rethink policy, technology and design, with a focus on making complex systems understandable, human and future-focused.

She is also the co-founder of the independent design studio Anton & Irene and the author of Universal Principles of UX (Quarto, 2023) and The Accessible Design Reference & Specification Book (Quarto, 2026). She is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).

Irene is a frequent speaker at international conferences including AGI Open, DesignThinkers and AIGA. She co-chairs the Interaction Design Master’s program at Harbour.Space in Barcelona and Bangkok and teaches Ethical, Accessible & Mindful Design in the Master’s in Digital Experience Design program at ECAL.
