Roel Nieskens is an independent developer from the Netherlands who loves the web, fonts, webfonts and all combinations thereof. Under the name PixelAmbacht he does front-end development and (web)font engineering for the likes of Font Awesome, Google Fonts and Typotheque, and he built Wakamai Fondue, the tool that answers the question “what can my font do?”. His side projects include a Commodore 64 demo in pure CSS, a typeface that turns buzzwords into censorship bars and a font that breaks browsers.
