If I remember correct, it was 7 years ago when Jason Pamental and I met in person for the first time and it was San Francisco. I remember that we had a similar drinking taste and good conversations during that evening, which circled around cycling, dogs and much that we had in common an chatted about.

I knew of Jason from his great work on the website “Responsive Web Typography”, which was always a very helpful resource for me, and his book titled “Responsive Typography” (Affiliate Link). As an advanced speaker, Jason has spoken at various events so far and is one of those people who is fantastic in the way he interacts with the attendees next to the stage.

If Jason is not working on the web or with type, he is a passionated cyclist or you can find him with his two dogs outside in the nature.
It is fantastic that Jason is coming to join us for the festival in Düsseldorf. I am sure is is having a great talk in his suitcase and delivering it in an motivating and engaging way. I know that he will enrich the event for anyone around him. And I am looking forward to that.
beyond tellerrand Düsseldorf 2025 is taking place on May 5 and 6 with workshops and Side Events on 4th and 7th.
