IndieWebCamp Berlin

The logo of the side event IndieWebCamp Berlin

Last year’s IndieWebCamp was a very spontaneous and somehow last-minute action. This time Joschi and Stefan decided to kick off the registration and organisation early and therefore I am happy to already give you dates, location and also the option to register. More information and the guest list, where we ask you top please also add yourself to it, on the IndieWebCamp wiki.

But what is an IndieWebCamp all about?

The importance of owning your data is getting more awareness every year. But there is still a lot of work to do to help people to understand what “owning your data” actually means at all. To help people getting started, we're meeting for a two-day (or three days, if you want) bar camp like collaboration in Berlin. Brainstorming, working, teaching, helping and much more. Join us on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th, and if you want already on Friday, and get into it.

Day one is a day with discussion in a bar camp like environment. Bring a topic you'd like to discuss or join on topics as they are added to the board.

Day two is all about implementing what you discussed. Work in groups with others or simply on your own. Demos at the end of the day show what everyone worked on and has achieved.

Thank you to our amazing partners
