Lunch-Break Session: N–Exit
N–Exit (Neurodiversion Exclusion Information Technology) – a cookbook to the waste management for neurodivergent audiences…
Conservative estimates show that 15 to 20 percent of humans are neurodivergent. Neurodivergence includes ADHD, autism, dyscalculia, dyslexia, and many other conditions.
One question arises:
How can we ensure accessibility for these potential users?
Alide von Bornhaupt and Stefan Barac speak from personal experience: Lowering peoples’ cognitive load. It definitely makes a difference.
Those two neurodivergent individuals will demonstrate how they perceive digital products. And creators can start to solve problems in a neuro-inclusive manner.
They will present:
– User-friendly design aspects that no standards currently cover
– Current examples that focus on “how not to do it” and “what to avoid,” highlighting what needs to be taken into account
– Showcases how you can make a change toward a less shitty experience
The answer is simple: Let’s build together with people with disabilities!
