IndieWebCamp Berlin

After we organised an IndieWebCamp in Düsseldorf since two years already, we are now happy to announce, that Sebastian Lasse is going to organise an IndieWebCamp in Berlin as well. Right when I thought, I don’t have the time to also organise one in Berlin, Sebastian jumped in, planned the dates and got a venue for us.

But what is an IndieWebCamp all about?

The importance of owning your data is getting more awareness every year. But there is still a lot of work to do to help people to understand what “owning your data” actually means at all. To help people getting started, we're meeting for a two-day (or three days, if you want) bar camp like collaboration in Berlin. Brainstorming, working, teaching, helping and much more. Join us on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th, and if you want already on Friday, and get into it.

Day one is a day with discussion in a bar camp like environment. Bring a topic you'd like to discuss or join on topics as they are added to the board.

Day two is all about implementing what you discussed. Work in groups with others or simply on your own. Demos at the end of the day show what everyone worked on and has achieved.
