Since our beloved home, the Admiralspalast Studio closed its doors, we had to find a new home for our 6th Berlin edition. It was a long and exhausting search, but we finally made it and are happy to introduce our new venue for Berlin (Photo by Sophia Vogel).

Join us for the very first show at Festsaal Kreuzberg and help us creating the cozy and warm atmosphere beyond tellerrand is known for. Located in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg with a great character in this listed building, we decided to go with this venue after checking many many other options.

Since we started our Berlin edition, we organise a letterpress workshop at the work space called p98a founded by Erik Spiekermann and Jan Gassel a few years back. It is a lovely space and the workshop is a wonderful chance to experience some printing history together with Erik Spiekermann, Ferdinand Ulrich, Jan Gassel, and anyone who else is there to guide us through the day.

The letterpress workshop takes place on Saturday, November 16th

Thanks to Bitgrip, who are sponsoring venue and catering for the Kirby workshop. Not only is this great for us, but great for you, as the workshop is much cheaper now. ;)

This workshop is sold out, but you can still get onto the waiting list to safe your chance to maybe still get a seat, if someone else can't join.

The Kirby workshop takes place on Wednesday, November 13th

It always has been important to find special venues for all the events during a beyond tellerrand week. This year we decided to be practical with the workshop rooms and simply run them in the hotel, where speakers and team are staying, which makes ways to prepare for us easy and the hotel services should be reliable, when it comes to wifi, tech and catering.

The workshops with Jason and Aaron are taking place on Wednesday, 13 November

Holiday Inn Berlin - City East Side
Wanda-Kallenbach Str. 2

How great to see the support of the Berlin community. Thanks for Phillip, who pulled all the triggers it needed to give us a home in their SAE Institute in Berlin. It is super close to the actual event venue, which makes it easy for everybody who found a hotel close to the venue. They set up two rooms for us: one to chill out and one to grab food and drinks (Pizza time!), which they sponsor as well. Many many thanks for hosting us and for being part of beyond tellerrand in Berlin.

The Pre-Conference Warm-Up is taking place on Wednesday, 13 November
