Open Device Labs (ODLs, #ODL) are a grass roots community movement that we love to support. They establish shared community pools of internet connected devices for testing purposes of web and app developers. In result, ODLs lead to an ultimate improvement of the web & app experience both for developers and for consumers.

We had a big ODL at our last years btconf in cooperation with the fantastic LapUp!. LabUp! was born to help people around the world in establishing nonprofit Open Device Labs which helps others access a large number of mobile devices for testing.

What we are planning for this year as well is a big get together of all the people behind the ODLs around the world. To share ideas and most importantly meet in real. And therefore we want to support you to come to beyond tellerrand 2013. Shoot uns an email, if you run an ODL and want to attend.
