#btconf Düsseldorf, Germany 13 - 14 May 2024

Our aim is to deliver an all over great experience. This means with anything we plan on stage, but also with our Partners and friends during the breaks and all around when we are not in the theatre. This is why we create an Exhibition hall, where we meet in those breaks and where you can meet our Partners and artists friends doing live silk screen printing and more.

Therefore it is not only the place to get a fresh drink (which are free this time, sponsored by Storyblok) and meet the rest of the attendees, but where you meet the Partners onsite and some lovely other exhibitors – artists, creators, speakers who brought something to exhibit and much more.

Each time this is different, but be sure that it’ll a great place to mix and mingle and meet interesting people. Below you find a list of who is part of our exhibition this time and what they do.

Storyblok

Storyblok

Storyblok supports beyond tellerrand for a long time now. Not even being a company that is massively old, we have a strong connection since they were born. Co-founder Dominik runs events himself and therefore he won’t forget about the community. For this event they come with a booth and some wonderful people that want to chat to you and have conversations about all things web!

sipgate

sipgate

I won’t get tired to repeat myself about how wonderful sipgate supports us with all kinds of things: they give us a home for the screening and for our Warm-Up, they organise to host a live radio show together with Silke Roggermann from Stream D and who knows, maybe they welcome you with lovely coffee once more?

ASUS

ASUS

ASUS is a new family member in the range of Partners. They joined as 2024 Global Partner and a lot of companies simply would simply not do a stand or booth for an event in that short time of notice. They gonna present some of their latest notebooks of which we also have one to work with with onsite. Make sure you check them and meet the lovely people of ASUS:

reinorange

reinorange

reinorange have recently written such a wonderful German article on why beyond tellerrand is important for them and why they support it in the way they do. They won’t have a dedicated booth for their agency, but will surprise you with something else onsite during the lunch break. Make sure you find them to say hello, thank you and how great they are.

TYPO3

TYPO3

Another new addition to the family: the people from TYPO3. First time at beyond tellerrand and they directly staff a great booth with friendly people and gonna bring a surf simulator! What that is? I won’t tell you. Make sure you meet them and they’ll show you.

Interledger Foundation

Interledger Foundation

PPK has spoken at beyond tellerrand already and been there also. He runs countless events and now he even teamed up with us for Interledger Foundation. Meet him and Alex Lakatos to chat about Web Monetisation and what this means, how it works and anything you want to ask them.

PPK is also giving a Lunch-Break Session about this topic on Monday during the lunch break.

Roterfaden

Roterfaden

In 2006 (or maybe 2007, but I think it was 2006), I once bought a Taschenbegleiter iN A4 and A5 and recently I thought, if they still exist and create their lovely products. Well they do! And I thought I ask them to team up and be a partner and also run a little booth with their products at beyond tellerrand in Düsseldorf. They do and you can check out their wonderful creations. You’ll love it.

skate-aid

skate-aid

For many years skate-aid are part of our exhibition now. They come with a lovely booth and present their products. Anything you buy helps getting kids off the street and empowering them to become self-confident people. Titus Dittmann himself will also be there on Monday, I case you want to have a chat and get a signed book from him.

Verlag Hermann Schmidt

Verlag Hermann Schmidt

Verlag Hermann Schmidt is a publisher that I remember from when I myself was still in high school. If I read this name, I think of high-quality books by great authors. I know them for a really long time already, but for some reason we never managed to get them to our event. Now they are here with a book stand. And two of their authors are as well!

Find Chris Campe and Stefan Sagmeister right after their talks at the booth to make sure you have the chance to get a signed copy of their recent books.

Smashing Magazine

Smashing Magazine

Smashing Magazine is known for their website mainly. Next to this, Vitaly and I started Smashing Conference in 2012 and their world wide events are some of the best in the web industry. Next to this Smashing Magazine publishes wonderful books and Jan of Smashing Magazine will be onsite with a little book stand. Make sure you say hi and get a book.

inDUStrial

inDUStrial

The INDUSTRIAL project is something I recently got notice of and directly had to meet their makers. It is a local project from Düsseldorf with bands and companies from Düsseldorf. Special with this is, that it brings together musicians with the local industry in a pretty unusual approach, as the companies open their premises enabling the artists to be inspired by the noises of the factory halls and sounds of the machines in order to create new compositions. Sounds exiting? Then make sure to visit the people behind this project in our exhibition.

Museum Express

Museum Express

Marc met Sebastian two weeks ago when Lars Terlinden introduced us at an event. He directly liked Sebastian and even more, when he told Marc his story about the “Museum Express”. On his website it says:

”The MUSEUM EXPRESS shows reduced mini-exhibitions by international artists in a converted transport backpack. According to your wish it delivers to individuals, families, friends or companies directly to your place.”

What a fantastic idea and we are happy that he directly said yes to present himself and what he does in our Exhibition.

Rob Draper

Rob Draper

Rob Draper is a dear friend of beyond tellerrand. He spoke many times, created countless assets for the events, has helped raising money for charity and recently also created the logo for the film “This Is What I Want To Do”.

In Düsseldorf he is back to bring “Your Words, My Hands”, where he draws what you tell him on A3 black paper and get a unique piece of art that you can frame and hang it into your living room, kids room, kitchen or agency. For a limited time you can see him drawing live on site and have the chance to get your words painted in silver or copper this time, signed by the artist.

Each poster starts at a price of €30 and all money we make with this goes 100% into charity. So you are welcome to give more, of course. You get the unique drawn poster rolled up and packaged in a delivery box as soon as it is dry.
