#btconf Düsseldorf, Germany 05 - 06 May 2025

The idea of Side Events is to include local Usergroups and Meetups to join us for the week we run beyond tellerrand in and present their groups to maybe a different kind of audience, than they usually have. A chance for them and us to grow our audience and get the word out. Whether the event is for free or paid, we’d like to get you to also be part of this. Interested? Please, let us know

See what’s already been cooked for you below. Ordered by date of the events taking place.

AX (Accessible Experience) – Lunch Time Session

AX (Accessible Experience) – Lunch Time Session

(This is a Lunch-Break Talk by Stefan Barac and Claudio Zeni on the first day of beyond tellerrand)

Accessibility is not a medical, technological or social topic. It is a cultural issue that most companies pay little or no attention to!

This year, various legislative changes which define accessibility as an obligation for companies worldwide providing services to Europe come into force.

After presenting facts and figures regarding accessibility we provide practical insights into how people with assistance needs use digital products and the barriers they encounter every day.

The presentation will give you initial tips on how to avoid the biggest pitfalls and shows you what really matters.
And you will finally understand the “why!”

Kirby Meeting

Kirby Meeting

Kirby is big part of what beyond tellerrand is. Not only are we using Kirby as our CMS, but our personal connection to the Kirby team is fantastic. Therefore we are happy that people who are using (and also those creating) Kirby meet for an informal get together at beyond tellerrand again. This is also meant for anyone who is not yet using Kirby, but wants to find out more or has questions.

You are invited to join them (Bastian and who else is there of the Kirby team) before the evening talk on Monday, May 13th, 18:00. They’ll gather at the main bar.

Dates, times, location

Date: 5 May 2025
Time: 6pm (18:00)
Where: Near the main bar

Please register for free, just to get a feeling for the number of people coming.

CreativeMornings

CreativeMornings

I am absolutely happy that the lovely people from the CreativeMornings chapter in Düsseldorf want to team up with us for our 2025 festival.

When they started their chapter ten years ago, they had been the one hundredth chapter in the world. Since then they have organised countless events in Düsseldorf. First Rainer Kunst, and for a while now Lisa Maria Kunst.

This year, in their tenth year, they had the lovely idea of running their breakfast event on the morning of our second day. Stay tuned for more information (speaker etc.) soon and sign up for free, as we need to get an approximate number for food and drinks.
